We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce high-quality, precision components in a fast-paced, high-mix environment.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation:
Set up and operate CNC machines (milling and/or turning) according to engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot minor programming and setup issues to ensure consistent production.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and shop drawings to guide production processes.
Process Improvement:
Contribute ideas to enhance machining efficiency and overall quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to support continuous operations.
Independent & Team Work:
- Work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience, working with mills, lathes, or both.
Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and interpreting shop drawings.
Strong understanding of machining parameters, including feeds, speeds, and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to work within tight tolerances and achieve high-quality finish standards.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Exact JobBOSS) is a plus.
Positive attitude with a team-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Skills & Technical Requirements
Proficient in GD&T, machine setups for production runs, and CNC programming.
Experience with CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC lathes (2-4 axis) from industry-standard brands (e.g., Haas, Okuma).
