Job Overview
Crossroads Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and evidence-based advanced practice provider (NP or PA) for a full-time role in the primary care setting in Boulder, CO. This is a warm and welcoming small family practice with a wonderful staff and a positive work culture. Crossroads Medical Center is focused on providing individualized, high-quality care and fostering long-term relationships with patients. The practice was founded in 1998 and is locally owned and operated by an NP.
- Compensation: $50-$62.5/hour, depending on experience
- Number of clinical hours per week: 32-40 (provider can choose within that range)
- Day shift
- Typical number of patients in an 8-hour clinic day: 12-15
- Long appointment times (20-60 minutes) so you can foster better relationships and provide the best care to patients.
- Option of working 4 or 5 days/week, Monday-Friday
- Clinic hours: 8:00am-12:00pm, 1:00-5:00pm
- Age of patients: mostly adults and some children/adolescents. No young pediatrics (under 5 years of age) or OB.
- Outpatient office only, no hospital coverage
- EMR: Practice Fusion
Duties
- Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric/adolescent/adult/geriatric patients in the primary care setting.
- Perform assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with diverse medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Share after-hours call with the other providers in the practice. Call is taken from home/remotely; in-person call is never required.
Experience
- 1 years of experience in primary care/family practice preferred, but not required.
- Must be comfortable working with the LGBTQIA community. Experience providing gender-affirming hormone therapy to transgender and gender-diverse adults is preferred, but not required. Training can be provided.
- Experience in GYN is preferred, including birth control management, treating UTIs and vaginal infections, STI treatment, menopause management, performing pap smears, and doing women's wellness exams.
