Job Description
The Crossraods Mission Public Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that promote the organization's mission, vision, and values. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and execute public relations campaigns, manage media relations, and oversee the creation of marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that promote the organization's mission, vision, and values
- Work closely with senior management to develop and execute public relations campaigns
- Manage media relations, including writing and distributing press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, and responding to media inquiries
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials
- Monitor and analyze media coverage of the organization and its competitors
- Manage the organization's social media presence, including creating and publishing content and responding to comments and messages
- Organize and coordinate events, such as press conferences, product launches, and community outreach programs
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Requirements
- Degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a related field, preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with social media management and analytics
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29,848.00 - $50,000.00 per year
