Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales Team with the day-to-day administration of insurance policies and related items for clients.
- Service small to medium market accounts for property and casualty lines of coverage.
- Customize commercial insurance programs to suit individual/business customers.
- Explain coverage to prospects/clients.
- Process renewals and new business including checking policies, ordering/processing endorsements and invoicing.
- Customer service via phone, fax, e-mail, and walk-in.
- Will work with multiple insurance carriers and underwriters.
- Preferred previous experience in the Insurance field
- Working knowledge and experience with Applied System a plus
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of proficiency and accuracy with spreadsheets, emails, and databases
- Ability to relate to customers and carriers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and follow through
- Personal motivation and drive to be a proactive partner to our customers and our service teams
- Confident, "go-getter" that can process insurance details in high volume, at a quick pace
- Ability to multi-task, quickly respond to changing priorities and accurately record data in an electronic environment
- Efficient, self-motivated individual
