Job Type: Per Diem / Part-time
Crossroads Programs, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, APN, Licensed Psychologist) to join our team helping youth stabilize behaviors and thrive in a community-based placement. Experience working LGBTQ community is a plus. Join us in making a difference in the lives of youth!
As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention to address the psychological, emotional and social needs to the youth, families and staff at Hope Homes. Duties include formulating evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting individual, group, and family therapy and providing case management functions.
- Leads the in-house Multidisciplinary Treatment Team (MDT)
- Works in tandem with the youth, family/ guardian as well as all other members of the MDT providing non-clinical input in the development of individual services plans, treatment plans and joint care reviews
- Participates in treatment conferences, individual educational plan, child family team, emergency review meeting etc.
- Participants in, in-house MDT, House Rounds, Clinical Rounds and Case Managers
- Assessments and Diagnosis
- Manages and Directs Clinical Crisis –ALERT STAUS –Safety Planning
- Provides sound clinical treatment to youth and families
- Completes all clinical documentation – treatment plans ISP, JCR and SN
- Maintains the clinical record
- Maintains Quality Service-Quality, Compliance and Training, COA
- Complies with all Medicaid, licensing and insurance regulations
- Provides psychoeducation, support and guidance to all members of the youth’s treatment team
- Provides clinical support to Case Managers
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, Doctoral level psychologist, or related mental health discipline
- Current NJ State licensure to practice; social work in the State of New Jersey as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW); as a licensed or certified Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (APN); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or a licensed psychologist
- Experience required at least 2 years of full-time clinical work experience; prior supervisory experience preferred
Training and other requirements
- One to three years work experience in psychotherapy
- Maintain yearly core competency training and credentialing and privileging
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Experience working as a Therapist in outpatient IIC and or Residential Setting
- Experience in working closely with a clinical team/ MDT
- Experience with LGBTQ community providing culturally competent and affirming mental health services to youth that present with a range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and discrimination.
