We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Middle School Mandarin Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Mandarin to middle school students and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and interactive Mandarin language lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of middle school students.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation, collaboration, and cultural appreciation.

Design and implement effective instructional strategies to enhance students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Mandarin.

Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Mandarin language and culture into interdisciplinary units and school-wide events.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and academic success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Mandarin Chinese, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Prior experience teaching Mandarin Chinese to middle school students preferred.

Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese, with a strong understanding of Chinese culture and traditions.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position with hours to be determined based on the department’s needs. The Middle School Mandarin Teacher will be expected to teach classes during designated instructional periods and may also participate in school-wide events and professional development activities as needed.
Salary : $10,764 - $21,608
