Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $127,000.00 Salary
Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, plan and implement engaging lessons, assignments, and instructional materials.
- Establishes clear learning objectives based on student needs, curriculum frameworks, and an understanding of human growth and development.
- Designs, administers, and evaluates assessments to monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Maintains a structured and supportive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and achievement while ensuring safety.
- Engages in regular communication with parents and students to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement, arranging conferences as needed.
- Oversees the appropriate use and maintenance of instructional materials, textbooks, equipment, and classroom facilities.
- Work collaboratively with the Science teaching team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Education: BS or BA in a Scientific Field required, MA preferred
- Years of Experience: 3 MS years preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and faculty.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.
- Outdoors experience, especially outdoor education, strongly preferred
