Job Description
Work under supervision of Personal Lines manager taking direction and reporting work completed.Phones answering incoming calls, transferring as necessary. Working directly with caller if it involves making payments, payment problems, policy changes that need to be made with the companies, e.g., deleting old car and entering new car information, filing claims, etc. Payments taking payment information over the phone or via e-mail and making payments with the companies. Sorting any payment problemsissues that need resolved, e.g., going tofrom autopay. Contacting clients who are late in making their payments. Policy Changes addingdeleting vehicles, updating mailing addresses, updating client contact information, etc., pulling renewal policies off California Fair Plan website and updating within agency management system, entering new excess and surplus lines renewal policy information into agency management system, and e-mailing new and renewal policy information to clients. EOIsCOIs e-mailing new or updated evidences of insurance and certificates of liability insurance to clients and evidencecertificate holders. Renewal Coverage OffersReviews e-mail renewal coverage information to clients. Data Entry updating client files in agency management system Hawksoft, adding new clients and prospects. Mailings send out newsletters and communiques to clients andor prospects regarding insurance topics, agency updates, and agency newsletters. New ClientProspect Intake complete intake form gathering pertinent information, informing team of follow up needed, and enter information into client management system. Filing Claims receive claim information from client phone callsand or e-mails, reporting it to the companies, getting the claim opened, then reporting back claim number and adjuster contact information to clients. Skills Required
Strong computer skills with the abiity to input data into company portal. Acurate data entry. Good interpersonal and organizational skills in speaking and following up with clients. Skills Preferred
Hawksoft softwarw experience a plus.Experience working in an insurance company a plus.
