Crossroads is seeking a Training Specialist III to support MEDCOE / DoOM in San Antonio.
Background : MEDCOE / DoOM is responsible for training and educating medical personnel. To accomplish this mission, MEDCOE / DoOM must provide trained and ready medical personnel to support worldwide contingency operations; produce concepts, doctrine and organizational structure that meets current and future force requirements; create integrated and relevant training strategies, products and programs and make them available for use; and support the Readiness and Managed Care missions of the Military Health System.All tasks must be completed in accordance with government approved, unit specific processes and standards and Army-wide training development and support task standards in accordance with applicable TRADOC / MEDCoE policies and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- Provides assistance in the training of Soldiers in a wide variety of individual and team skills for DoOM / TCMC courses. The contractor shall support training activities by :
- Serve as primary program point of contact to TCMC government leadership for logistics, contract personnel resource scheduling, course delivery requirements, and represent support course-specific planning meetings.
- Provide technical advice and assists program course preparation, delivery, and logistics. Prepare monthly restock / resupply class 8 inventory report.
- Responsible for organizing and coordinating training and storage facilities (to include 9 Conex / storage sheds and buildings) on JBSA Ft. Sam Houston / Camp Bullis in support of TCMC program of instruction.
- Provide input and feedback on the training schedule and academic calendar.
- Provide advice to Program Director, faculty, and staff on developing logistics schedule aligned with course support requirements and works with each faculty member on scheduling and classroom / student equipment needs.
- Perform all Training Specialist II requirements
- Knowledge / Skills / Experience : Associate degree. 5 years' experience.
Security Requirements : Tier 1 Background Investigation required.
Place of Performance : Services for this contract shall be provided at JBSA, Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis government facilities to include classroom / office, simulation laboratory, and field aid station settings that are all adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, as well as on outdoor training lanes.
