We are currently searching for dynamic individuals to become the TEMPORARY HEALTHCARE TECHNICIANS for our Circle Program. The healthcare technician is responsible for providing daily assistance to clients, assisting staff in completing tasks around their assigned unit and accommodating patient needs. These temporary positions are available for the second, and graveyard shifts.
All applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening,
which includes testing for marijuana, as well as background checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assisted and provided support to conduct groups, using motivational interviewing skills.
Assures that all documentation is complete and follows established deadlines.
Assists in maintaining the unit in an organized, clean, and efficient manner.
Transports patients to and from appointments, support groups, employment searches, etc.
Maintains security of assigned units by CTP policy and procedure.
Monitors patients and their activities. Accurately documents activities of each patient during assigned shift.
Responsible for reporting all patient infractions, concerns, or problems to the primary counselor or supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
It requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
The Certify Addiction Technician (CAT) must be completed within 18 months from the hire date.
Experience:
Prefer prior experience working with mentally ill and substance use patients.
Other:
Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions.
CPR and First Aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by the agency).
Valid driver's license and insurability (for insurance purposes, the candidate must be 21 years or older to drive a company car).
Basic computer skills are required.
Good driving record (must furnish a current unofficial DMV driving record upon hire).
