We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them effectively.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
- Social Media Experience Peferred!
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of retail math is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
