Family Advocate
Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Family Advocate for its Union Street HS/EHS location in Pottawatomie County. This position assists in implementing the social services and parent involvement components in the Head Start center, as well as providing health support in compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards.

Education Experience License and Knowledge
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work or related field preferred;
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with low-income and culturally diverse families
License:
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain acceptable liability insurance
Knowledge:
- Must be computer literate and have accurate typing skills as well as the ability to operate a variety of office equipment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills required;
- Skills in assisting parents of young children in advocating and decision making for their families;
- Knowledge of the community;
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with Head Start Performance Standards.
