Job Description
The Direct Support Professional will provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. The job duties will include assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. The DSP will also provide emotional support and companionship to clients, assist with medication management, meal preparation, and other activities of daily living. The DSP will maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, document client progress, and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:
A valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required. Background checks showing no evidence of founded abuse or criminal activity are also necessary. Additionally, certification in Medication Management, CPR, and Mandatory Dependent Adult Abuse is required within the first 6 months of employment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Previous experience working with individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities is also preferred.
