We are looking for an Engineer to play a key role in the installation and commissioning of advanced battery production lines. This role offers a highly competitive pay rate and an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading equipment installation efforts, including ovens, piping, mixing, and web-handling equipment.
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Participating in equipment trials, commissioning, and mass production handover.
- Engaging in advanced cleanliness protocols (clean rooms) for battery manufacturing.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures for equipment performance.
- Managing project schedules, KPIs, and budgets.
- Collaborating with domestic and international teams to meet business milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in equipment installation and capital project execution (over $0.5M preferred).
- Strong 2D drawing interpretation skills (facility/process equipment).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Ability to travel domestically (20%) and be open to potential international travel (Japan for meetings/trials, 1-2 weeks at a time, 4-6 months depending on business needs).
- Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods as needed.
