What are the responsibilities and job description for the Household Inspector position at Crossville Housing Authority?
Overview
Working with the housing program staff and maintenance department, the Household Inspector will perform regular and periodic inspections of all CAH housing units. The Inspector will also perform unit orientation and walk-throughs with new tenants as well as working closely with tenants that require additional training in health and safety household cleaning tasks.
Duties
- Perform regular and periodic inspections
- Perform unit orientation and walk-throughs with new tenants
- Train tenants on health and safety household cleaning tasks
- Maintain spreadsheets
Qualifications
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Use of basic hand tools, office equipment, computers and tablets.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Training in inspection protocols and successful completion of certification tests will be required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and tenants.
- Ability to work independently.
This job entails some lifting of light to moderate material. Regular local and out-of-county travel is required. A company vehicle for work travel is provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
