What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Warehouse position at Crossway?
Responsibilities for this position include:
Shipping & Receiving
- Loading & unloading inbound shipments of product and returns.
- Processing deliveries of product including count and verification of item to packing list and office distribution of samples.
Warehousing
- Maintaining accurate warehouse inventory using intranet pages in web browser.
- Putting stock away in warehouse locations in a timely manner.
- Tracking movement of stock from one location to another.
- Removing stock from warehouse to fill orders.
- Filling fulfillment flow rack locations from restocking report or requests.
- Restocking of processed returns into warehouse.
Order Processing
- Determining shipping and labeling requirements.
- Marking orders for picking from line or warehouse case quantities.
- Pulling case quantities from warehouse and combining with balance of order from line.
- Stacking, wrapping and weighing of orders.
- Creating Bill of Lading using software on computer.
- Scheduling of pick up by carrier.
Other
- Maintain forklift battery levels.
- Keeping warehouse and dock clean and orderly.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to lift 50 LB boxes repeatedly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Forklift experience a plus
COMPENSATION:
$19-$22/hr. Competitive salary based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships
