Job Summary

Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance..

Maintains a suitable and safe climatic environment. Performs predictive, preventive and / or corrective maintenance on equipment.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
• Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Keeps accurate operational logs of equipment in multiple buildings.
• Makes rounds of machinery rooms, cooling towers, boiler rooms, and rooftops to perform visual inspections of equipment and verify its operation.
• Makes vital water tests on converters and chillers.
• Proficient in operating, programming and troubleshooting Hospital Computerized Systems such as but not limited to : Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems and CMMS system management.
• Performs some building maintenance and electrical work as necessary.
