What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Crouch's Wrecker & Equipment Sales?
We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for new and used towing equipment sales within the state of Tennessee.
This role will be based out of our Kingston Springs office, where the representative will spend most of their time on the road visiting customers, promoting our product, generating sales, and providing excellent customer service.
Crouch's is a leading distributor of towing equipment from Miller Industries, offering a comprehensive range of products along with parts and servicing. As a successful candidate, you will be required to obtain a DOT health card within the first month of hire and a Class A CDL within the first year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a sales territory within the state of Tennessee
- Sell a diverse range of towing equipment to both existing and potential customers
- Assess customer equipment for potential trades, providing valuable insights
- Establish, cultivate, and grow relationships with existing and potential customers
- Assist in resolving customer problems and addressing any complaints that may arise
- Regularly report prospective leads and daily activities to the Sales Manager in Tennessee
- Stay updated on the latest equipment and industry practices within the towing sector
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement through feedback mechanisms
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a successful sales representative
- Knowledge of automotive or heavy equipment, with a preference for candidates with a CDL (Commercial Driver's License), which can be obtained while on the job
- Prefer someone with a background in medium/heavy chassis sales or body up-fitter sales
