About Us:
Techie Kids is an engaging children’s STEAM program with a focus on coding robotics. As a mobile teaching company specializing in robotics for children aged 2 to 11, our professors positively prepare children for kindergarten and beyond through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and creativity. Our expert-approved curriculum is age appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards.
The Role:
As an instructor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of your classes in the Indianapolis market with the support of your Program Director. This position is responsible for providing consistent and educational weekly classes on-site at our partners throughout the greater Indianapolis area.
Hours: between 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Experience working with groups of children.
- Reliable vehicle and driver's license.
No experience in robotics? No worries! Our program is designed with beginners in mind, offering a fun and engaging curriculum tailored for our youngest students. We’re excited to provide you with all the training and support you need to succeed in this rewarding role!
Physical Requirements:
This role requires a dynamic and active individual comfortable with standing, walking, and engaging in physical activities throughout the workday. You will need to use your hands, arms, and legs consistently and may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Loudly projecting your voice is also a part of the role.

Techie Kids Club coaches use a combination of technology tools and “unplugged” activities to teach coding concepts like algorithms, sequencing, loops, and debugging.
We use kid-friendly tablets, robots, and other digital tools designed for early learners, including pre-readers. Our coaches also utilize simple tools like a deck of cards, blocks, and board games that encourage cooperative learning.
Note: This is a position with classes scheduled at various locations throughout the territory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
