What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anesthesia Technician position at Crouse Hospital?

The Anesthesia Team assists in the preparation and setup of surgical procedures as well as cleaning, maintaining and stocking of the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases. The Anesthesia team is hiring an Anesthesia Technician.
Pay Range: $16.00 - $30.98
Anesthesia Technician Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years previous Anesthesia experience
OR
Two (2) years of emergency medical field experience & a certification as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician (or higher) - Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks of hire date.
- Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred.
- All candidates must pass an Anesthesia Technician exam with a score of 75% or higher (test will be administered by Human Resources).
