What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader Surgical Suite/OR - Registered Nurse position at Crouse Hospital?
The Team Leader assists with the daily coordination and functioning of employees and resources within a department or assigned area. Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, workflow coordination and delegation.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
Required:
â— High school diploma or equivalent required.
â— Associates Degree in Nursing required.
â— Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
â— Current Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification. Re-certification must be maintained throughout employment at Crouse Hospital.
â— Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
Preferred:
â— Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE
Required:
â— Minimum of two (2) years previous nursing experience in an OR/Surgical Suite setting.
SPECIAL SKILLS / EQUIPMENT
â— Working knowledge of MS Outlook. Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Hourly Rate
$33.00 - $50.00
