Crow’s 98,000 square foot manufacturing facility operates 2 shifts; and its capacity includes 6 hammers, 12 hydraulic presses, and a screw press. Crow is NADCAP certified to perform Heat Treat and Non-Destructive Testing. Crow is ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation of all quality assurance activities. This position reports to the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Maintain the Quality System Manual & Procedures.
Maintain product specification files.
Control and maintain the Quality & Manufacturing Stamps.
Prepare Quality reports.
Participate in the review of customer purchase orders.
Coordinate internal audits on compliance with the Quality System Manual & Procedures.
Issue and maintain corrective and preventive action reports.
Maintain the Approved Supplier List.
Maintain the Supplier Performance report.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a United States person.
High school diploma or GED certificate is required.
- Associate’s degree or trade school certifications are desired but not required.
Solid experience with Microsoft and ERP applications (must have strong typing skills).
Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to employees and customers.
The following qualifications are desired but not required:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
- Familiarity with written policies & procedures, and quality controls.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with forge manufacturing and forging tooling & design.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
Performance Traits:
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must have strong organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions.
Strong communication skills. This position requires frequent verbal and written communications with employees and management of the Company’s suppliers and customers.
Available to work weekends and overtime as may be required.
Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
