Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all restaurant (Tavern ’38, Snack Shack) and event operations. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service and quality in all dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to team management. You will will work with the Chef to curate innovative menus, ensure flawless event execution, and help develop CRGC as the premier destination for dining and events.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of the club's food and beverage operations, including the restaurant, bar, and event space.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service.
- Monitor food and beverage inventories and maintain cost control practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and Chef to create and maintain menus that reflect quality and club standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food service regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes.
- Maintain and train on Point-of-Sale procedures.
- Manage all Club Food and Beverage events and private functions including booking, planning, budget, and administration.
- Involvement in community and professional organizations to grow relationships and increase booking of events and meetings.
- Point of contact for members, event organizers, and guests ensuring exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships..
- Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring a high-performing, customer-focused team fostering a positive team culture and encourage professional growth.
- Schedule and allocate staff resources to optimize service levels during peak and off-peak times.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategies.
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Prior experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
- Prior experience (a minimum of 2 years) in event planning and coordination.
- Golf course experience a plus.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology and systems.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
