We’re looking for a seasonal Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding service, we’d love for you to join our team. Your role will be essential in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our visitors.
As a Front Desk Agent at Denali Crows Nest Cabins, you will be responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, answering phone calls, handling reservations, and providing information about the property and surrounding area. You will also assist with any guest needs or requests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and check them in with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Process guest check-outs and handle payments accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding reservations, cabin amenities, and local attractions
- Assist guests with requests, including providing directions, recommendations, and resolving issues
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all guest information is accurate and up-to-date
- Process reservations and cancellations using our booking software
- Monitor and manage room availability and update booking records
- Provide guests with information about property policies, services, and amenities
- Accommodate the purchase of items in the lobby (including snacks and alcohol)
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Assist with coordinating special requests, such as extra amenities or transportation needs
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area remain clean and inviting
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met
- Support other team members as needed to ensure a smooth operation
- Drop off and pick up guests to and from the train station and local restaurants
Requirements:
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to use booking software (training provided)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Certifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- TAPs Certification
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
