Position Overview:
As a Truck and Trailer Transport Refrigeration Technician at Crows Truck Center, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration units on trucks and trailers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' transport refrigeration systems are functioning efficiently, keeping goods safe during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units on trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
- Install new refrigeration units and related components.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a refrigeration technician, specifically with transport refrigeration units.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification in refrigeration (EPA certification) is a plus.
