What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Designer / Sales Specialist position at Crow Wing Cabinets?
Crow Wing Cabinets is seeking a Designer / Sales Specialist to become an integral part of our team. You will work directly with customers on their project in design layout, estimating project costs, sales generation with follow up and closure, and occasionally site field measuring. Qualities required to be successful in this position include strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to understand the customers needs and budget, ability to work under deadlines and good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Determine customers needs, wants and budget for their project
- Create design and estimate and present to the customer
- Able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Competent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have knowledge or learn CAD software, such as Cabinet Vision and 2020
- Analytic skills for evaluating situations and problem solving
- Excellent follow up skills
- Networking opportunities with local professionals (contractors, interior designers, Real Estate Agents, etc.)
- Creating opportunities to bring potential customers into showroom through social media, cold calling, showroom events
Education & Job-Related Experience:
- Basic cabinet design knowledge with the ability to learn our product
- Self - driven individual, ability to work with minimal direction
- Ability to ask for and close a sale
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized
- Attention to detail
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30-5 and Friday 7:30-4.
Occasionally you may work an evening or Saturday based on appointment
Pay / Benefits:
Base pay $45,000 - $55,000, based on eduction/past experience
PLUS Incentive pay
