What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Intern position at Crow Wing, County of (MN)?
This is a temporary student worker position limited to not more than 640 hours per calendar year. Student worker requirements, defined as person who has graduated from post-secondary institution and is within two weeks of graduation or currently a student of a post-secondary institution. This position will be for the months of May through August 2024.
Experience in a customer service role, scanning documents and/or an understanding of the create/view/edit/print imaged file process is desired. Understanding of Excel, Windows, and network operating systems. Additional requirements include a detail orientation and the ability to operate a computer and/or scanner performing repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours.

- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries providing information and assistance relating to department programs and services in a professional and timely manner to ensure a high service environment.
- Office Services: Perform a variety of general office services including mail processing, gun permit audits, scanning, reception functions, scheduling, messaging, and NCIC validations for department staff as assigned.
- Analyst help: organizing, documenting, and analyzing information/data, reviewing case outcomes for evidence management purposes, and reviewing social media platforms/jail communications as requested. Perform related duties as assigned.
- Emergency Management services: help review existing emergency operations plans and coordinating emergency services training programs and disaster exercises for the law enforcement, fire, EMS, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, airport, local governments, private industry, and voluntary agencies.
