REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:
- 18 years of Age
- Able to Pass a Drug Test
- Legally Eligible to Work in the US
Primary Function of a Truck Driver: Drive trucks, usually over 4 tons, to destinations on a construction site for pick up and delivery based on instructions or directions provided by a supervisor.
Typical Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects before and after trips.
- Monitor vehicle during operation and report maintenance/repair requirements to dispatcher.
- Secure loads being transported ensuring safe and undamaged materials/equipment upon arrival at destinations.
- Assist in loading and unloading of material transported, equipment, and vehicles.
- Assist in assembly and disassembly of RT and Crawler Cranes.
- Staying out overnight, if needed, when traveling out of state.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be able to hookup and/or disconnect tractor trailer combination vehicles.
- Must have a valid CDL operator’s license.
- Must maintain an electronic drivers log according to ICC regulations.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance adjustments to truck.
Essential Functions:
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. or more for short distances.
- Reach for, manipulate and feel objects.
- Stoop, kneel, bend, and walk.
- Maintain full dexterity.
- Work easily and skillfully with hands.
