Bulldozer Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bulldozer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating bulldozers and other heavy machinery on landfill/construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Bulldozer Operator will be responsible for moving earth, grading land, and assisting in various landfill activities.

Duties

• Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders to perform tasks including digging, grading, and moving materials.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Applicant must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks effectively.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery on site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Experience

• Proven experience operating bulldozers in a commercial construction setting is required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable, along with knowledge of safety practices related to heavy machinery operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.86 - $26.03 per hour
