About the Role :
We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in data governance and enterprise-scale data management projects to lead a significant initiative within a state government agency. This role requires working collaboratively with IT and program stakeholders, managing Agile ceremonies, JIRA boards, and project reporting while following the Texas HHSC-IT Project Management Framework .
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level project manager with experience in government agencies to contribute to a critical project.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage an enterprise data governance project , ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage JIRA boards to track project progress.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state government project management frameworks (Texas Project Delivery Framework is a plus).
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and program stakeholders to ensure project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
7 years of Project Management experience.
5 years managing enterprise-scale data management projects.
3 years managing complex projects in state or federal government agencies.
Experience in Agile methodologies, JIRA management, and stakeholder reporting.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
