We are seeking a Senior Agile Business Analyst with extensive experience working on Java/Oracle web applications. This role is centered around supporting a large-scale internal web-based contract management system used across multiple divisions. You will act as a Product Owner/Business Analyst, engaging directly with stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, a strong background in SQL, systems testing, and reporting, and a demonstrated ability to drive product success in an Agile environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements
- Write user stories, requirements documentation, and functional specifications
- Conduct detailed system analysis and contribute to solution design
- Perform system testing including unit, integration, and UAT
- Coordinate product demos, code releases, and manage stakeholder communications
- Prioritize backlog items based on stakeholder input and business impact
- Support project management functions as needed, including planning and reporting
📌 Required Qualifications:
- 8 years as a Business Analyst in technology environments
- 8 years of SQL experience, including writing and analyzing queries
- 8 years of experience with System Reporting (Oracle, SQL)
- 8 years in Agile Software Development methodologies
- 8 years of experience delivering Java/Oracle applications
- Strong experience with systems testing – unit, integration, UAT
- Experience coordinating with stakeholders and product delivery teams
Preferred:
- 2 years of Project or Product Management experience
- Experience with Jira for backlog and sprint management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and high-value features
