We are looking for a Senior Business & Data Analyst with deep experience in business systems analysis, data validation, and requirements gathering. This role supports strategic system enhancements in a major public health initiative focused on the WIC program, including the transition to an EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) platform.
You will:
- Analyze system requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical tasks.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, including business users and IT teams.
- Conduct and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate on solution options, risk mitigation, and benefit-cost analyses.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and improve system performance and usability.
- Review reports, release notes, and project documentation.
- Support training and provide guidance on system modules for nutrition, clinic services, and infant feeding workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years in business/data analysis in large-scale systems.
- Experience working with MIS and EBT systems in a healthcare or public sector setting.
- Proven experience with UAT test plan creation and execution.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical terms to business stakeholders.
- Experience developing and conducting user training.
- Excellent documentation and system evaluation skills.
Nice to Have:
- PMP or other project management certification.
- Previous experience in nutrition or health-based government programs (WIC, SNAP, etc.).
- Prior work with Texas government agencies.
