Job Description:

Our client is a locally renowned and fast-growing contractor, specializing in Design-Build projects for Mission Critical and Advanced Facilities across the US.

They are looking to hire a Director of Estimation to lead a pre-existing (and growing team) and spearhead business development and estimation activities with their existing book of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor the estimating team.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Analyse market trends, material costs, and labour rates.
• Manage subcontractors and supervise subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing.
• Identify and mitigate cost risks and establish SOP for future mitigation efforts.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and business development.
• Own cost reporting and cost analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in construction management or engineering or relevant working experience.
• Experience in Construction, covering a variety of project types, including Mission Critical, and engineering disciplines (MEP, Electrical, HVAC etc)
• Proven leadership of estimating teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Pay: $91,677.00 - $99,294.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
