Job Description:

• Managing Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship (PWA) engagements for both large and small energy projects (solar, wind, hydrogen, battery storage, etc.

• Managing Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC) studies, including performing tax technical analysis and drafting reports for our clients

• Delegating project work to our staff including those in Crowe Tax India (CTI)

• Performing tax technical analysis and quality review on tax credit studies and communicating tax technical issues to the broader team

• Deep understanding of IRC Sections 45 and 48 and related regulations and guidance

• Effectively communicate with our clients to collect required data.

• Effectively lead client discussions with multiple stakeholders including Tax Directors, General Contractors, Project Managers, etc

• Develop and execute project work plansDevelop appropriate quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project results

• Manage risk and technical review of energy tax credit projects Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment to meet and exceed client expectations

• Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

• Strong data management skills, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx

• Ability to mentor and develop staff and young professionals, including on the job technical training and coaching

• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

• Personal drive to develop self/others and provide leadership insight to the existing leadership team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or engineering, MST is a plus

• Prefer 2 years or more experience in public accounting

• CPA, EA, or PE credential preferred

• Experience in the subject matter areas described above is also preferred
