Primary Purpose:

Direct and manage Montessori instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Master’s degree in educational administration
• Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
• Montessori Administrator/Instructor Credentials – AMS preferred
• Certified Texas Teach Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS) appraiser

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Working knowledge of Montessori curriculum and instruction
• Knowledge of Montessori instructional and leadership philosophy
• Ability to support Montessori philosophy of the prepared environment school wide
• Ability to articulate Montessori’s guiding principles to all stakeholders
• Ability to evaluate the Montessori instructional program and teaching effectiveness
• Ability to manage budget and personnel
• Ability to coordinate campus functions
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Ability to interpret data
• Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct instruction and/or attend meetings and professional development, and make and receive phone calls in a virtual or remote workplace environment

Experience:

• Three years experience as a classroom teacher
• Five years experience in instructional leadership roles
• Three years of leading a Montessori school, preferred

Salary:
Starting Salary Range: $87,432- $123,247 (2024/2025 Compensation Plan)

• Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
• Salary will be adjusted to the start date
