    Description:
    The Quinnite School Network (QSN) Social Studies TDSI is a dedicated instructional leader focused on improving student achievement through coaching, collaboration, and targeted interventions. This role is designed to support teachers in refining instructional practices, facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and provide direct interventions for students in need of academic support. With 70% of the role dedicated to coaching, the Interventionist will engage in classroom observations, feedback cycles, and direct modeling of instructional strategies. An additional 20% will focus on PLC collaboration, ensuring alignment of best practices and curriculum strategies, while 10% will involve direct student intervention for struggling learners.

    Qualifications:
    Education/Certification:
    • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Education, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
    • Valid Texas teaching credentials in Social Studies, or related areas (required)
    • Minimum 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience with demonstrated student success

    Experience:
    • Experience in instructional coaching, curriculum development, or academic intervention (preferred).

    Job Summary:
    Instructional Coaching (70%)
    • Conduct classroom observations to assess instructional effectiveness and provide actionable
    feedback.
    • Model high-impact instructional strategies in Social Studies classrooms.
    • Support teachers in differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs.
    • Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching to enhance instructional planning and
    delivery.
    • Analyze student performance data to inform teacher coaching and curriculum adjustments.
    • Assist in the integration of literacy and critical thinking strategies into Social Studies
    instruction.

    Professional Learning Community (PLC) Collaboration (20%)
    • Lead data-driven discussions in PLCs to refine instructional approaches.
    • Facilitate collaboration between teachers, administrators, and instructional teams.
    • Ensure curriculum alignment with state standards and district initiatives.
    • Guide teachers in the implementation of best practices for reading comprehension, writing
    skills, and historical analysis.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among staff.

    Direct Student Interventions (10%)
    • Identify and support students who need additional academic intervention in Social
    Studies.
    • Implement targeted small-group or one-on-one interventions for struggling learners.
    • Utilize research-based strategies to improve reading fluency, comprehension, writing, and
    analytical skills.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to support growth.
    • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure student success.

    Successfully advance district initiatives


    Salary:
    $62,810 – $74,315
    • Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
    • Salary will be adjusted to the start date

    Program Stipend:
    • Stipends include additional days during the program academic year as outlined in the stipend agreement
    • ***STIPENDS ARE GRANT FUNDED***
    • FUTURE FUNDING IS BASED UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE GRANT
