Primary Purpose:

Plan and provide therapy to students with speech and language disabilities. Evaluate students and plan therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with students’ ability to derive benefit from the educational program.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Speech Therapy Assistant Certificate (Bachelor's Degree)
• Speech Pathology Certificate (Bachelor's Degree, grandfathered)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of current therapy/eligibility strategies/standards
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• At least one year experience delivering speech therapy
• Public school experience preferred
