Salary: $17.50
Duration: Full-time Temporary 2/11/25-6/30/25
Schedule: Day shift Monday-Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Job Description:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for prepping, scanning, cropping, rotating and performing quality control reviews on digitized images from microfiche. Position includes data entry from a variety of source documents and files into various computer systems and software applications for processing, data management and storage purposes. Work must be completed at a rate that is established for each project with an accuracy that requires minimal rework.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Review scope of work documents and work with Project Managers to set up equipment to comply with specifications
- Prep and prepare microfiche for scanning
- Scan, crop, rotate and perform quality review on digitized images
- Verify images for DPI, readability and skew and fix to meet customer requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment and rescan when necessary
- Update data and delete unnecessary files
- Combine and rearrange images and data from source media where required
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
- Transcribe information into required electronic format
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases
- Check completed work for accuracy
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Maintain equipment and supplies as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of high-speed production level fiche scanners.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
- Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
Physical Requirements:
Capable of remaining in a sitting position for extended periods of time operating a PC and making precise and repetitive hand and arm movements while operating scanning equipment. May be required to lift up to 35lbs.
Working Conditions:
Capable of working efficiently and accurately in a quiet, temperature-controlled environment with other production staff simultaneously utilizing various electronic imaging and film equipment. Work will be fast-paced, and deadline driven.
