SUMMARY : Casuals will be lashing down cargo, working inspections, or tasked with various jobs on the terminal. Casuals may also operate yard jockey trucks to load and offload barges.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Required to perform duties in the freight warehouses, lashing onboard vessels, working in various other positions throughout the terminal, and performing other physical and manual labor tasks as directed by terminal management.
PAY : $20.60 / hourly

HOURS : No set schedules or guaranteed hours - the job is ON-CALL . Casuals are NOT GUARANTEED a (40) forty-hour work week nor a full-time regular position with the company. Hours are assigned daily as needed based on vessel operations.
Qualifications
Casual lasher / drivers are temporary employees used to cover situations such as replacements for absenteeism, vacation, and increased workload. This position is not permanent but does have the potential to become permanent.
