SUMMARY: Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, shipping and staging materials in support of operational requirements within Crowley Logistics
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in inventory level maintenance and counts.Operates warehouse equipment as necessary
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 1 years in a related field preferred
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word
COMPETENCES
Forklift certification preferred and may be required after completion of the introductory period. Must be able to bend, reach, lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted
OTHER: Bilingual English/ Spanish is required. Data entry skills (95% accuracy rate)
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts a single business unit/segment
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.

FLSA Status: The position is Non-Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet the required deadlines. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
