Role
As a member of the Network Business Process Improvement Team, the Lead Business Performance will facilitate and support the team's process analysis, design and documentation functions for critical Operational Improvement and Transformational initiatives. The Lead BPI is responsible for the analysis of current state processes; identification of operational gaps and needs; translation of gaps and needs into requirements; informing and facilitating solution design; researching alternative solutions; and process documentation as a member of large-scale, multi-project Program Teams. Other responsibilities include providing regular updates to Business Performance leadership, ensuring adherence to plans, troubleshooting partner issues, and identifying and mitigating schedule and scope risks. This role requires proficiency in business analysis, process analysis, design, documentation and project management principles.

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
The salary range offered for this position is $102,160-$140,470 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate business process analysis and needs assessments. Translate findings into clear and actionable scope and requirements.
- Understand and document current and future state business and system processes as they pertain to specific project assignments
- Partner closely with business, product and technical teams to complete, requirements gathering, solutioning, testing and successful project delivery.
- Develop broad understanding of operational processes, system workflows and data and how this interacts with business needs to inform solution design.
- Research business and system capabilities to identify future process and system needs for customers and field teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop proposed process and system changes, including determination of problem statements, business impact assessments, prioritization, collaborative research, solution design and implementation
- Collaborate with technical product owners to follow product roadmaps and translate into initiatives; make recommendations on prioritization and proactively manage the backlog within an established ceiling
- Support program and project teams in developing phased implementation plans with stakeholders.
- Establish effective communication with Network teams and leadership to ensure program and project expectations are clear before and leading up to execution and closure.
- Build strong relationships and create buy-in on critical business outcomes across multiple peers and teams with limited formal authority
- Support program steering committee activities.
- Ensure scope is advanced according to plan and issues/conflicts are resolved promptly. This includes working cooperatively with all operational and functional teams in network to integrate and administer all activities to ensure satisfactory project outcomes.
- Coordinate and report status updates into systems of records that are accurate, timely, and complete. Provide regular updates to Business Performance leadership to ensure adherence to plan.
- Work with the peer teams within Business Performance to ensure effective handoff practices throughout the delivery process.
- Ensure compliance with Business Performance standard processes and procedures on all project related activity.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field
- Seven (7) or more years business and/or systems analysis experience
- Seven (7) or more years project management experience
- Successful track record of delivering complex interdisciplinary projects on time and on budget Previous experience working in a geographically dispersed team strongly preferred
- Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless operational business processes including project delivery, asset management, and network construction in both the Public and Private rights-of way.
- Strong consultative, critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to influence across multiple lines of business and stakeholder groups Ability to innovate new and creative solutions to existing problems
