Job Title: Maintainer
Description:
The Maintainer will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, repairing, overhauling, performing preventive maintenance, quality adjustment checks, and evaluating can line equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity production.
- Primary responsibility for safe mechanical performance of line and standard production output.
- Disassemble, replace, reassemble, inspect, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment as required.
- Measure and record all can dimensions against specifications. Maintain records of production, quality, and other related records as directed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues; perform mechanical repairs and maintenance for production equipment.
- Primary responsibility for safety for all areas of assigned duties.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a 4,000-hour training program to be fully qualified as a Maintainer. Extensive on-the-job-training (OJT) will be provided.

Crown's Closures, Aerosol & Promotional Packaging (CAPP) Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for the largest consumer packaging companies in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift between 10 lbs. - 50 lbs.
- Stand at workstation for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Must have verifiable mechanical, technical aptitude, and experience.
- Must pass basic Ramsay Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Must pass basic Minimizer Test.
- Must have ability to read and utilize micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.
- Must be motivated and prepared to participate in S.P.C. projects and functions.
Satisfactory progress during progression schedule is necessary for continuation in the training program. Performance will be evaluated at 1,000-hour intervals by the employee's immediate supervisor.
