Job Title:
Palletizer Operator/General Laborer 1st Shift
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Palletizer Operator/General Laborer to join our team at our Oshkosh, WI facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment, performing visual checks, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Palletizer and Strapper equipment
- Perform visual checks of finished goods
- Remove damaged and/or suspect finished goods from palletizer and report same to Supervision, Production Line Mechanic and Quality Control Checker
- Utilize proper packaging materials (chipboard, top frames and pallets) as required
- Verify and place proper pallet tags on finished goods
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety - keep work area clean
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to stand continuously for more than 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to walk, lift/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Must be able to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to twist at the waist and bend repetitively
- This position may also require climbing or balancing
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours shifts, both day and evening
