We have an opening for a General Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual labor duties within our plant, which may involve tasks such as painting, cleaning, fabrication assistance, moving equipment, inventory management, and other duties as required.
This temporary role can involve working weekends with a rotating four on and four off schedule or Monday through Friday depending on the tasks at hand. The hourly rate is $23.5957 per hour, and this is a 90-day employment opportunity.
The workday begins at 6:00am and ends at 2:30pm. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be available for the entire 90 days of employment
- Physically able to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Willingness and ability to work at heights as well as climb stairs
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to withstand walking/standing on a concrete surface for the entire shift
While performing the duties of this job, you may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic (forklift) and a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is frequently loud.
