Responsibilities
You will perform all necessary pre-production safety checks, follow all plant safety rules, SOP's, LOTO, and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. You will also operate, set-up, adjust, repair and overhaul all can assembly line equipment and related equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity of production. Additionally, you will maintain all functions of the can assembly line, perform all necessary quality checks to ensure the product meets documented quality requirements, accept primary responsibility for the performance of the assigned equipment, perform preventative maintenance as required, and document completed daily housekeeping; Work area is to be clean, orderly, and free of hazards at all times.
Job Requirements
You must be able to work any shift, 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. You must have a mechanical background and/or experience, and all applicants will be tested for mechanical aptitude. Tools are required, and the Company will furnish a basic tool list that is the minimum requirement for this position. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members are required, as well as strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality. Familiarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programs is also required. You must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
