The Slitter Machine Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring optimum levels in Quality Inspections, Package identification, and Final packaging. Working closely with Supervision and Quality, this individual will be responsible for checking loads of plate for possible problems before running them on the slitter, accurately filling out production reports from load tickets, inspecting body blanks being produced for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, color variation, feeding body blanks into welder, and performing housekeeping and SQF-related tasks throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and sorting products to ensure high-quality standards
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently to meet production goals
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborating with team members to achieve common objectives
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or related field
• Able to work alternate shift schedules, including mandatory overtime, based on business need
