Job Description:
As a key member of the Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. team, this role is responsible for providing operational assistance and relief to the Back End team. This includes supporting LSM Operator and Back End Maintainer tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in set-up and maintenance of production equipment, including flangers, beaders, light testers, spray machines, IBO's, and palletizer.
- Collaborate with can quality check operators to ensure high-quality products.
- Operate Palletizer, LSM's, and Back End equipment when other operators or maintainers are unavailable.
- Conduct visual checks of cans to guarantee compliance with process standards.
- Complete required documentation, such as process check sheets, logbooks, and maintenance check sheets.
- Support other areas of the plant as needed to maintain smooth can flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to all safety procedures and work practices.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to read and understand SOPs.
- Basic data entry and computer skills.
- Able to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
- Knowledge of safety regulations relevant to work functions.
