Job Summary:
The Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. team seeks an experienced Production Relief Team Member to provide critical support to our Back End operations. This role requires strong mechanical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational assistance and relief to the Back End team, including LSM Operator and Back End Maintainer tasks.
- Assist in set-up and maintenance of production equipment, ensuring efficient operation.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and address any issues.
- Act as a backup operator for Palletizer, LSM's, and Back End equipment, providing seamless support during peak periods.
- Conduct regular inspections of cans to guarantee adherence to company standards.
- Prepare and complete necessary documentation, such as process check sheets and logbooks.
- Support cross-functional teams to maintain optimal can flow and efficiency.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and understanding of SOPs.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations relevant to the workplace.
