Key Responsibilities
The Electrician will be responsible for:
- Preparing workstations, installing, repairing, and wiring electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits throughout the plant, in accordance with national electrical code requirements.
- Making power cable splices and working hot lines as required.
- Fabricating brackets and miscellaneous parts, solders, silver solders, and braces as required.
- Cuts, threads, and installs conduit.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
The Electrician will regularly need to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The job also requires occasional climbing, balancing, talking, or hearing.
