Job Summary
The Warehouse Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the receiving, warehouse, and distribution operations. This includes initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational policies, and federal, state, and local warehousing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains warehouse operations by implementing security procedures and protocols to safeguard contents.
- Controls inventory levels through physical counts, reconciliations, and date storage system management.
- Ensures warehouse areas are safe, clean, and organized.
- Communicates changes to shipping issues, equipment, production schedules, and production problems between departments and shifts.
- Works with employees to identify and implement solutions for machinery and equipment problems.
Requirements:
- High School Education/GED
- Five to seven years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Two to four years of shipping, warehouse, and supervisory experience
- Availability to work various shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Packaging industry experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
